Standard motor vehicle rates are based on seasonal pricing, and includes up to 5 persons in the vehicle.

For the best available price we encourage booking online. All standard vehicles include the driver and up to four passengers free of charge.*

Camper vans, Motor homes, Trailers & Trucks
Must be booked over the phone, please phone 47969300.
Trailers, Camper vans (longer then 5.5m and/or heavier than 2.5 tonne), Motor homes and Trucks must be booked via the office. We need to consider tide movement for appropriate travel time, and lengths must be checked before payment is made.

Reduced Rates
We are happy to offer an 18% discount on vehicle travel, off our in house rate (which equates to approx. 6% off our online rate), to the below card holders. Card holders must be travelling in the vehicle.
These bookings need to be made over the phone with our reservations staff on 07 4796 9300.
Once relative ID has been verified, reduced rate will be applied.
The discount is not applicable in conjunction with any other offer or sale.
Magnetic Island Ferries is a family-owned business; therefore we do not receive any subsidies from the Government. All discounts offered here are done so in good will.
All Australian Seniors, Australian Defence Members, Emergency Service Personnel (Fire, Ambulance, Police) and DVA.
Remember to bring your card with you on the day of travel to receive this reduced rate.
* Vehicles 5.5m and under have a weight limit of 2.5t, 5.6-6m vehicles have a weight limit of 3tonne . If the weight limit is exceeded, vehicle pricing will be moved up to the next cost category of Campervan or Truck. Please note, these vehicles cannot be booked online and must be booked with the office. All Motor Vehicle Fares include up to five passengers who can legally sit in the vehicle. All passengers need to be in the vehicle while loading and unloading on & off the vessel. Any offer, discount, reduced rate, or sale price, cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer, discount, reduced rate or sale price.
Pricing Schedule commencing 1st July 2023
Dear Valued Customer,
We greatly value the pillars of safety, reliability, and quality that define our services. To maintain the high standards that we take pride in, and what our customers have come to expect, we regretfully find it necessary to make certain adjustments to our pricing.
Effective from July 1st, 2023, there will be a required increase in some of our rates. This adjustment directly stems from escalating operational expenses such as Port Lease fees, Environmental Management Charges, insurance premiums, and labour costs.

As a family-owned company, Magnetic Island Ferries does not receive government subsidies. However, we acknowledge the need and expectation from our customers for affordable options, which we are committed to providing.
We are pleased to announce the continuation of our “Seymour Services” for off-peak travel fares. This exclusive offer can reduce the cost of a regular sized vehicle by up to 25%.
Furthermore, we are pleased to extend our concessional rates to Australian Seniors Card Holders, Pensioner Concession Card holders, as well as specialised service personnel.
