Trailers, Caravans, Campervans (longer then 5.5m and/or heavier than 2.5 tonne), Motorhomes and Trucks must be booked via the office. We need to consider tide movement for appropriate travel time, and lengths must be checked before payment is made.

Wide Trailer is any trailer or caravan which is 2.2m or wider, including ANY overhangs. eg. kayaks, timber lengths, bicycles.
NOTE: Our weigh bridge has a maximum width of 2.9m. We can transport wider; however, bookings must be made well in advance. A pre purchased weigh bridge ticket is essential. Phone: 07 4796 93000 for further information.

Car Parking
Car Parking is allocated on a first-come first-served basis. All rates are per 24 hours or part thereof.
Island Residents: Must show driver’s licence with Magnetic Island address to receive discounted rate.
Pension Card Holders: Valid Pension Card must be presented.

Reduced Rates
All Australian Seniors, Australian Defence Members, Emergency Service Personnel (Fire, Ambulance, Police) and DVA.
Remember to bring your card with you on the day of travel to receive this reduced rate.
We are happy to offer a reduced rate on vehicle* travel, off our in-house rate to the below card holders.
Card holders must be travelling in the vehicle.
These bookings need to be made over the phone with our reservations staff on 07 4796 9300.
Once relative ID has been verified, reduced rate will be applied.
The discount is not applicable in conjunction with any other offer or sale.
Magnetic Island Ferries is a family-owned business; therefore, we do not receive any subsidies from the Government. All discounts offered here are done so in good will.
* Valid ONLY for Standard Vehicles 5.5m and under and have a weight limit of 2.5t, and Large Vehicles 5.6-6m that have a weight limit of 3tonne.
If the vehicle length and/or weight limit is exceeded, vehicle pricing will be moved up to the next cost category of Campervan or Truck. Please note, these vehicles cannot be booked online and must be booked with the office. All Motor Vehicle Fares include up to five passengers who can legally sit in the vehicle. All passengers need to be in the vehicle while loading and unloading on & off the vessel. Any offer, discount, reduced rate, or sale price, cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer, discount, reduced rate or sale price.
