What is the Magnetic Saver?
The Magnetic Saver is a reduced fare for vehicles travelling on selected Magnetic Island Ferries sailings — now available all year round. The saving is applied automatically when you book online; there’s no code to enter and nothing extra to do. Because it’s offered on our quieter services, spaces are limited and the eligible sailings can change from time to time.

How the saving shows up
There’s no code to enter and no badge to look for. On eligible sailings, the Magnetic Saver is already built into the price — it simply shows as a lower fare than the standard sailings. When you book online, just choose the sailing with the lower fare.

Good to know before you book
Online only. Book at bookings.magneticislandferries.com.au. The Magnetic Saver isn’t available over the phone or at the ticket counter.
Vehicle size. Available for vehicles up to 6.5 metres long. Not available for motorcycles or scooters.
Up to 5 people per vehicle.
One offer at a time. The Magnetic Saver can’t be combined with other discounts or offers. Island residents are the exception — your resident rate can still apply on eligible sailings.
Available all year round. During Queensland school holidays, public holidays and other peak periods, peak season rates apply.
Changes & cancellations. Our standard booking terms apply, including any change or cancellation fees. Magnetic Saver bookings can’t be held as open tickets, and if you move to a higher fare later you’ll pay the difference plus any standard fees. Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law aren’t affected.
