General conditions

• First leg only Fees apply to the first leg of a booking only. Changing the return leg of a booking is always free of charge.
• Standby bookings Where no reservation is made and the customer joins at the end of the load, no fees apply.
• MIF-cancelled sailings Where Magnetic Island Ferries cancels a sailing, all affected customers are entitled to a full cash refund to their original payment method regardless of booking window or fare type. No fees apply.
• Customer responsibility Changes and cancellations must be actioned by the customer to be effective.
• No notice of cancellation Where no notice of cancellation is provided prior to departure, the fare will be forfeited and no refund or credit will be issued.
• Resident verification Reduced fees for island residents require verification via a current driver’s licence showing a Magnetic Island address.
